General Information for Retrofitting Trailer Hitch

• When retrofitting a trailer hitch, pay attention to the technical requirements, the manufacturer guidelines and legislative regulations.
• Only use a trailer hitch that was tested and is permitted for the respective vehicle.
• Make sure there is sufficient distance to the bumper cover when there are items attached to the trailer hitch, such as a bicycle rack.
