A new vehicle must be broken in, and the break-in distance should be 1,000 miles (1,500 km). Do not drive at speeds that will exceed 2/3 of the maximum permitted engine speed (RPM) for the first 600 miles (1,000 km), and avoid full acceleration during this period.  Starting the engine when there is a malfunction
